VW Emissions scandal : Burns Nowlan LLP Solicitors are set to oppose on behalf of its clients an application in the Dublin Circuit Court by Volkswagen to dismiss Irish consumer cases for allegedly being “frivolous and vexatious” and bound to fail.
The application will come before the Court on the 28th. March 2023. Even though Volkswagen , with an annual turnover in 2022 of €279 billion euros, has settled cases in the USA, England and Germany it is contesting claims filed by Irish car owners, both current and past, who allege breach of contract , breach of duty and statutory duty and misrepresentation against the German car manufacturer.
