Stephen, a partner with Burns Nowlan LLP, graduated from UCD with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, and subsequently qualified as a Solicitor in 2011. Before joining Burns Nowlan LLP Stephen worked with the office of the State Solicitor for North Kildare for 10 years.

His principal areas of expertise are Litigation, Probate and Conveyancing and since joining Burns Nowlan LLP he has established a substantial conveyancing practice advising personal and commercial clients on the intricacies of buying, selling and developing properties. He is renowned and complemented for his personal touch with clients when dealing with their legal affairs.

Stephen also deals with the administration of estates including applications to the Probate High Court and Circuit Court particularly when difficulties arise either in relation to wills or the administration of estates.

In addition, he advises clients in relation to Licensing and also on Wills and Trusts and General and Enduring Powers of Attorney which are increasingly being used by clients who wish to make provision for their later years. Most recently he has been involved in one of the first High Court cases in which the law and procedures of Enduring Powers of Attorney are to be clarified by the Court.
